Cienciano announces its first signing for the 2023 season
The Panamanian player who became a Peruvian national arrives in Cusco with the hope of achieving great objectives
Cienciano has announced its first signing for the 2023 season. It is Alberto Quintero, a Panamanian right winger who has now become a Peruvian national. He played for Universitario de Deportes since 2017 and was one of the standout players in the team.
Quintero, who also plays for the Panamanian national team, scored four goals and provided five assists in the Liga 1 - 2022. So far, he has scored a total of 33 goals in Peruvian football. Now he arrives in Cusco with the hope of achieving great objectives and competing in the 2023 Copa Sudamericana, where 'Papá' aims to be one of the main contenders.
"It is a great joy for me to join 'Papá de América'. I will give everything to achieve the objectives set by the club," said the striker, who recently played a friendly match with his national team against Venezuela in Dubai, where he announced his arrival in Cusco.
It is worth mentioning that 'Chiquitín' Quintero will not occupy a foreign player spot in 'Papá de América', as he recently obtained Peruvian nationality.
