Jorge Luis Pinto used his Twitter account to write a post for Alianza Lima. "I want to send a congratulations to the entire Alianza Lima family," is the first thing you read in the Colombian coach's post.
He then added, "They sealed a well-deserved bicampeonato in great detail, to the joy of their beautiful fans. I remember them with affection for the wonderful years we shared at this great institution. Go Alianza Lima!", expressed with joy the current coach of Deportivo Cali.

As you may remember, Jorge Luis Pinto is highly regarded by the Alianza Lima fans. In 1997, he managed to win the championship with the victoriano team after a long drought of 18 years.
He then had a second stint at Alianza Lima in the 1999 and 2000 seasons, but it didn't go well for him, leaving the team to go on to coach Bucaramanga the following year.
