The referee Michael Espinoza awarded a free kick, but did not show the second yellow card to Orzán, who continued playing despite committing the tremendous foul.
"I won't comment on the refereeing, but what happened in the match was very clear (...) What can we do... Sometimes we make mistakes and sometimes referees make mistakes. It's part of football", said Pablo Lavandeira.
Regarding the development in the Liga 1 final, the midfielder of Alianza Lima indicated that the match in Arequipa was "very tough", but he considers that "the series is open and there are 90 minutes left to decide".
