"I feel very happy and reassured by the appointment, it is an honor. My commitment is to make the greatest effort to satisfy the needs of our athletes. I know the world of sports from within and I know that we must reinforce and strengthen in order to compete on equal terms at the international level. It is a great challenge, but I trust that I will do a great job," he said.
