Sporting Cristal continues its pursuit of the Clausura Tournament title and aspires to be the national champion of Peruvian football. The fate of the Celestial club will be clarified this weekend, with the 18th round of the competition. Days before the outcome, the Peruvian model Guty Carrera, an avowed fan of the Celestial team, expressed his complaint about the transfers made by the institution.
"Sporting Cristal needs quality reinforcements. Enough of buying cheap players with no performance. A model team like the Celestial squad should have giants in its ranks," wrote the 32-year-old athlete, a former participant in a reality competition show.

"I don't care if they sign one or two players as long as they make a difference," Carrera added. Finally, Guty asked his fellow Sporting Cristal fans a question: "What reinforcements would you like to see in the club?"
Sporting Cristal's signings throughout 2022 have been Leandro Sosa, Fernando Pacheco, John Jairo Mosquera, Yoshimar Yotún, Diego Buonanotte, and Joffré Escobar.
When does Sporting Cristal play?
Sporting Cristal will face Carlos A. Mannucci on Sunday, October 30 at the Alberto Gallardo Stadium, starting at 3:00 p.m. (Peruvian time). The team led by Roberto Mosquera must win and hope for a stumble from Alianza Lima against ADT in Matute to try to win the Clausura Tournament.
