"Last night the tow truck lifted my car in Miraflores, I didn't see the yellow line and I understand that I have to comply with the rules. Now, a fine of 660 soles seems excessive to me. It's a great business for a municipality where there are potholes on the roads for example," he said.
As you can read in the tweet, which already has more than 500 likes, 'Flaco' Granda expressed his indignation with what happened and described the actions of the tow trucks as a "great business."
In addition, users supported what the Gol Peru commentator mentioned and even shared similar incidents and criticized the functioning of municipalities.
"In Surco they charged me 850 soles for the same thing. Almost a minimum wage," "Surely you won't do it again. Look at it from that perspective. It works," "Unfortunately, this is what the country has come to, at least in Miraflores they try to enforce it beyond the established amount. There are abandoned places by their mayors," they commented.
