According to journalist Raisa Simplicio, the organization is far from filling the Monumental Stadium in Guayaquil, which can accommodate 55,000 spectators, and they have decided to give away complimentary tickets.
“So far, around 11,000 tickets have been sold for the Copa Libertadores final between Flamengo and Atlético Paranaense. Sales began for fans of both clubs on September 28. Together, Flamengo and Atlético Paranaense are entitled to 12,000 tickets each, totaling 24,000. Barcelona de Guayaquil’s members can buy tickets for only $85 and are also granted an additional ticket for each one purchased,” detailed the communicator from Goal Brazil.
As reported on her Twitter account, Simplicio showed some messages that fans received after processing their purchase. The images show a message offering them gift tickets.
“Some Brazilian fans who bought category two tickets for the Copa Libertadores final are also receiving complimentary tickets for each one purchased,” she added.
