With the score down for Alianza Lima against Deportivo Lara, and after making four substitutions, coach Samir Mendoza decided to send Sashenka Porras onto the field. And her entry certainly paid off. The young footballer, very close to the end of the match, scored a fantastic goal that meant the final 1-1.

At the second minute of added time in the second half, the 17-year-old athlete found the ball and advanced several meters until she reached the area and, in a comfortable position, finished with her right foot, with great skill. Along the way, Porras left three opponents behind.

In this way, Porras saved Alianza Lima from what seemed to be a defeat, within the framework of the first match of Group D of the Women's Copa Libertadores. In the celebration, the player couldn't help but shed tears of emotion, while being hugged by her teammates.

"We wanted the three points. It didn't happen at first. We had opportunities and didn't take advantage of them. In the second half, with more calmness, the goal came", said Sashenka Porras after the match for the Conmebol channel. She was a substitute and entered the field at the 77th minute, replacing Estefanía Cartagena.

Alianza Lima, who didn't have their top scorer Adriana Lúcar due to injury for this match, will have to turn the page on the draw against the Venezuelan team Deportivo Lara and think about their next challenge. The 'Íntimas' will face Chilean team Santiago Morning on Monday, October 17th, at 5:15 p.m. (Peruvian time).
