National Scholarship and Educational Credit Program (Pronabec)
The National Scholarship and Educational Credit Program (Pronabec) of the Ministry of Education (Minedu) has announced that the Beca 18 scholarship for 2023 has already begun. This benefit seeks to support low-income students who are finishing fifth year of high school.
For this call, the Peruvian State has provided 5,000 comprehensive scholarships to talented young people who are in a vulnerable condition. If you want your child to participate in this new student competition, then you must pay close attention to the following information.
Beca 18: Until when can students apply?
The call has been open since September 15 and will close on October 13, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. In addition, applicants for this educational benefit will be able to know the results starting November 10.
Beca 18: How to apply for the educational benefit?
If you want to participate in this call and wish to apply for Beca 18, you must follow the following procedures. Take note!
- In the preselection stage, contestants must register at the following link: https://www.pronabec.gob.pe/beca-18/
- Click on 'Bases y resoluciones' (Bases and resolutions).
- You must read the application requirements carefully.
- If you meet the requirements, you have to click on 'Módulo de Postulación para Preselección o SiBEC' (Preselection or SiBEC Application Module).
- You will have to create an account with your ID number.
- You will be assigned a username and password to access the module.

- Peruvian nationality.
- Have achieved high academic performance in the last two years of high school.
- Belong to a household in a situation of poverty or extreme poverty.
