Alianza Lima became the two-time champion of the Women's League by defeating (3-0) Carlos A. Mannucci in a spectacular setting, with over 30 thousand fans filling the Alejandro Villanueva stadium. However, the team must quickly turn the page and rest from the celebrations because an important challenge awaits them next week: the 2022 Libertadores Cup.
By winning the 2022 Women's League, Samir Mendoza's players qualified for the continental tournament as representatives of Peru. After the previous draw, they will be in Group D along with América de Cali from Colombia, Santiago Morning from Chile, and Deportivo Lara from Venezuela.
