The fencer María Luisa Doig added the second gold medal for Peru in the XII South American Games Asunción 2022. The first to win a medal for our country was skater Deyvid Tuesta.
The Peruvian athlete defeated the Argentine Clara Di Tella in the individual sword discipline. María Luisa Doig achieved a score of 14-13.
