Throughout the year, Alianza Lima has had negative moments, especially at the international level, but it seems that things have finally fallen into place for the team, as they could win all the titles in Peruvian football. The blanquiazul team reached the top of the Clausura after beating Universidad de San Martín 5-0 at Matute. However, they still need to wait for other results to see how the matchday ends. Nevertheless, they are back in the race with 27 points, two more than the second place (Sporting Cristal), and they are currently third in the overall standings with 57 points, pending the two additional points they will receive for winning the Reserves Tournament.
On the other hand, the women's team is even better as they are in the grand final of the Women's League. This comes after a perfect year in which they only drew one match and won all the others they played, except for the draws in the semifinals and final. Moreover, they recently won the Peruvian football superclásico at Estadio Alejandro Villanueva.
