The National Referees Commission (Conar) announced through its social media that Bruno Pérez would be in charge of arbitrating this match.

This news caught the attention of fans and the national press, as this will be the third match he will officiate in three days.

Let's remember that the national referee was in charge of officiating the César Vallejo vs. Melgar match in the local tournament (Saturday, September 24) and the Alianza Lima vs. Carlos A. Mannucci match in the Liga Femenina 2022 (Sunday, September 25).

Amid the controversy that arose, Conar made a last-minute change and decided to replace Pérez with Michael Espinoza for the match between Alianza Lima and San Martín.
