"They were two fateful minutes that made us lose two points," said FBC Melgar coach Pablo Lavallén.
On the other hand, Cienciano coach Vigevani said they were superior throughout the match and that Melgar had too much reward with only one shot in the second half to score a goal. "We didn't have a great game but the initiative was ours." The classic had no winner.
