The Pluspetrol Women's League 2022 is nearing its end. Although this weekend the semifinal of the final hexagonal (Alianza Lima vs. Sporting Cristal and Carlos A. Mannucci vs. Universitario de Deportes) will take place in search of the two finalist teams, this Friday the team that lost the category as well as the one that will revalidate it with the runner-up of the 2022 Female Cup were defined.

The seven teams that occupied the bottom of the table in the regular stage faced each other in a heptagonal format all against all that ended on September 16. Academia Cantolao opened the day by defeating Sport Boys 4-0, thus sealing the descent of the chalaco team, which lost all six matches played and will have to play in the 2023 Female Cup.

At the same time, Ayacucho FC defeated UTC, who started and finished the day as penultimate in the Relegation Playoff, finishing the tournament in a revalidation position. Now, they will have to wait for the runner-up of the 2022 Female Cup to play a deciding match. With these results, Universidad San Martín has already secured their place in the Women's League, so their match against Deportivo Municipal will only serve for statistics.
