The reason why the Uruguayan strategist did not appear on the substitute bench in the match played in Cajamarca became known.

Carlos Stein lost 4-0 to UTC in the town of Cajamarca on Friday, September 9th, during the start of Matchday 11 of the Clausura Tournament. One of the aspects that caught attention in this match was the absence of the head coach of the Chiclayo team, Tabaré Silva, on the substitute bench.

It turns out that the coach's bond with the board had been broken for several days, and the legal aspect is being analyzed to terminate the contract.

According to journalist José Varela from Líbero newspaper, on Monday, September 5th, Carlos Stein's board informed Tabaré Silva that he will not continue with the team.

"Tabaré Silva was fired from Carlos Stein Club last Monday and that's why he is not coaching the team against UTC. The Uruguayan coach is still in the city of Chiclayo because he needs to settle the economic aspect with the Chiclayo team," the journalist wrote on his Twitter account.

This is the second time that Tabaré Silva is left out of the team. A similar situation also occurred a few months ago; however, since the parties did not reach an agreement on the contractual matter, the Uruguayan coach ultimately continued in his position, until now.
