In response to this, a 'flashy' sign in San Isidro highlighted the rule with an 'extravagant' exhibition, but an 'error' would become evident on social media: "You are in San Isidro! The use of leash and muzzle is mandatory," it reads, but without writing 'the pet' between its lines.

This sparked criticism and humor among Peruvians on social media; this embarrassing viral from the Municipality of San Isidro is already being commented on Twitter, despite the positive reception of a fine worth S/1,840 soles.

Specifically, Law 27596 is in charge of regulating the legal regime of dogs; it specifies the 'dangerous' dog breeds that must be taken with a muzzle and leash, whenever they are in a public place.

"San Isidro, a district 100% friendly with bondage", "Tsss. Such a hassle to explain the joke to you", "They're missing the whip. These people don't know", "It's very confusing. There's no problem with the muzzle and leash, but it says nothing about clothes. Does it go or not?", "We don't want a mayor, we want a dominatrix", these are some comments generated by the hilarious publication.
