My Life as a Rolling Stone tells the story of one of the world's greatest rock bands like never before. It explores The Rolling Stones through the perspective of each member, delving into their personalities, passions, and memories from the past 60 years. The episodes provide an intimate portrait of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood, and Charlie Watts and shows how these individual geniuses came together to create the music that has been the soundtrack of millions of people's lives.
The documentary series presents unparalleled access to the band's material, with recently filmed interviews with its members and a star-studded cast of artists who have loved and been inspired by The Rolling Stones, such as Rod Stewart, Tina Turner, Slash, and Steven Tyler, among many others. It includes unseen footage and exclusive stories from Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ronnie Wood intertwined with new and archival interviews and performances. The story of Charlie Watts, who sadly passed away in August 2021, is told through tributes from his bandmates, fans, and friends, along with archival interviews of the drummer.

My Life as a Rolling Stone is directed by Oliver Murray (The Quiet One), Clare Tavernor (Keith Richards: A Culture Show Special), James Giles (Can You Feel It – How Dance Music Conquered the World), and the series' director/producer, Sam Anthony (Me, Myself and I with Ryan Gander); and the executive producer is Steve Condie (Keeler, Profumo, Ward and Me, Thatcher: A Very British Revolution, Skinhead). The series is produced by Mercury Studios.
