After saving the first three penalties from Internacional de Porto Alegre, Conmebol Sudamericana highlighted Carlos Cáceda for his tremendous work in Brazil.

"Carlos Cáceda, Melgar's star: this is how the three saved penalties and celebrations were experienced from the field. The Peruvian team among the top four of the Conmebol Sudamericana," wrote via Twitter.

Melgar vs. Independiente del Valle: match date

The date for the first leg semifinal match will be Wednesday, August 31 at 5:15 pm in Quito. The second leg will take place on September 7 at 9:30 pm in Arequipa.
