The FPF signs an agreement for interinstitutional cooperation in favor of people with Down syndrome.

Great action by the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF)! On Thursday, August 10th, the signing of the interinstitutional cooperation agreement with the Colectivo 21 Peru Association in favor of the sports inclusion of people with Down syndrome took place.

In attendance at the event were the President of the FPF, Agustín Lozano, and the President of the Colectivo 21 Peru Association, Gissely Alvarado Ramírez.

Through this agreement, the highest entity of Peruvian football seeks to support and promote "programs, activities, and/or events that have as their fundamental objective achieving social inclusion by instilling and showcasing the capabilities of athletes with Down syndrome, who strive to forge an inclusive society with equal opportunities."

Likewise, through an official statement, the FPF committed to providing the necessary infrastructure for "training, sports equipment and clothing, technical support and advice, training for the national team coaching staff and/or coaches of the potential Lima-Callao T21 Futsal Down League."

Finally, the head of the FPF, Agustín Lozano, confirmed that he witnessed the Down futsal team at the World Cup held in Lima and assured that the federation will do everything possible to continue supporting them.

"I had the opportunity to watch the Peruvian team play at the last Futsal Down World Cup, held in Lima. The boys showed solidarity and a lot of attitude to represent the country. The Federation will continue to support this discipline. They have our full backing," emphasized Lozano.
