Carlos A. Mannucci has not been able to win a single match so far in the Clausura Tournament (lost three and drew one), placing themselves in the last position in the championship standings. After that, the 'Carlista' board decided to sign Jorge Pautasso to help them get out of the bottom, something that the coach is confident in doing after getting to know his team for the Liga 1.
"The feeling is good, we had knowledge of the squad and we believe that the team's position is not what it should have. We believe that from the next matches the team will have the results it deserves," said the coach at a press conference.
Jorge Pautasso knows that he will have to make some drastic changes to implement his style of play, but he is confident that the Carlos A. Mannucci players will adapt quickly to it, as they have received his work on the field of play in a great way.
"We must take the good things done by the two professionals who were before us and, on our part, instill in the boys what we come to propose. There may be changes in the tactical and emotional aspect, but since we arrived we never looked at the table. The squad has shown us that they have professionalism, ability, and quality," he added.

With a past in Melgar de Arequipa (2019), Jorge Pautasso took the place left by professor Mario Saralegui in the northern team, which is looking for a drastic change in their game to be able to regain the path of victory in the Peruvian championship.
To fill the vacancy left by the Uruguayan, Carlos A. Mannucci decided to contact a strategist who is familiar with the Peruvian tournament and some players on the squad, with the goal of reducing the adaptation time and making the most of the previous experience.
