Bruno Pérez's refereeing team reported a theft of their belongings in the locker rooms while officiating the Binacional vs. Ayacucho FC match. In response, the home team decided to issue a statement, providing updates on the investigations.

The last game of Binacional, at the Guillermo Briceño Rosamedina stadium, caught everyone's attention, and not precisely because of the match against Ayacucho FC (they won 4-1 against the 'Zorros'), but because of a complaint made by the referees of the game, who stated that their belongings were stolen.

"According to the aggrieved parties, the incident occurred when they were refereeing at the field of the Nuevo Guillermo Briceño Rosamedina Stadium in Juliaca, in the match between Binacional and Ayacucho for the Liga 1", part of the complaint reads.

After that, Binacional issued a message in which they revealed their main suspicion regarding the person responsible for the theft, which happened within their facilities during the recent Clausura Tournament.

"After the initial investigations, it is suspected that the private security officer in charge of guarding the referees' dressing room would be responsible for this theft, as he left the stadium before the end of the football match, leaving his service uniform abandoned in another area," indicated the statement from the 'Poderoso del Sur'.

Among the stolen items from Bruno Pérez (referee) and the assistants Jesús Ramos and Héctor Yanqui - who reported the incident at 20:45 - there was cash, watches, and wallets, which contained identification documents and debit and credit cards.

Pérez and company arbitrated the match that ended in a 4-1 victory for the home team. Jack Durán (48′), Andy Polar (57′), Janio Pósito (61′), and Víctor Cedrón (90′+1) scored for the 'Poderoso del Sur', while Robert Ardiles (83′) scored the only goal for Ayacucho FC.
