Migrations has enabled appointments especially for minors so that parents can process their passports without long queues, this in the context of Children's Day, which is celebrated on August 21 in Peru.
The idea is for parents to be able to apply for their children's passports on weekends, Saturdays and Sundays, only in the month of August and at the central headquarters in Breña.
Jorge Fernández, the superintendent of Migrations, indicated that the campaign aims to prevent children from missing classes in order to obtain their passports, which is why an exclusive schedule has been provided for them.
"We are running a campaign so that parents can bring their children on these days so that they do not miss school, to have a more peaceful day and especially because we know that children sometimes get stressed in queues, so we have taken advantage to prepare a special program for children with balloons, clowns," he said.
"With these days, Saturday and Sunday, children will not miss classes, they will have one more reason to go out with their children and come to get their passport. Today we have clowns, next week we will have a children's show and face painting, and we will increase according to the needs shown by the children," he added.
In addition, on Sunday, August 21, there will be a very special show for all the children who attend, the doors of Migrations are open from 6 a.m.
