The Peruvian national team chose Juan Reynoso as their new coach and the former player did not hide his excitement for the new challenge he will undertake, in a press conference at La Videna.

The Peruvian National Team will start a new process, this time under the orders of Juan Reynoso, who has been chosen by the FPF as the new coach. The experienced strategist was presented to the media on Wednesday and did not hide his excitement for the new challenge in his career.

"I am grateful for the signs of affection from Agustín Lozano, Juan Carlos Oblitas, and all the people who work at Videna," the coach began, highlighting the welcome he received when it was confirmed that he would lead the 'Blanquirroja' in the coming years.

"It's an important day for my family and me, it's truly a lifelong dream. I'm more than excited to have this position today. As Juan Carlos said and shared with the board, this is a team effort," added the former Cruz Azul coach.

"The truth is, I am very moved to have been able to join the Peruvian senior national team to contribute in every way. In methodology, in trying to have a more competitive tournament, and to integrate everything that is football, whether owners, executives, federation people, press, private companies," he said, reflecting emotion on his face.

Similarly, Juan Reynoso requested massive collaboration to move forward. "Throughout the years, we have complained that there are many things to rethink, and today I believe it is a good time to do so. If we all contribute, we will completely reengineer our soccer," he emphasized.

"Through day-to-day, minute-by-minute work, we have to work. We need everyone. Today, I come to lead, but I am interested in contributing and being seen as someone who has learned throughout their life and can now pass it on to future generations," he concluded.
