According to the Central Reserve Bank of Peru, individuals who have a damaged bill can exchange it at any financial institution, but only if they meet the following requirements:
Have more than half of the bill, contain the watermark, the ink that changes color, and the security thread. Additionally, have the front and back, as well as one of the complete series and numerations.
