A young criminal has already been captured 15 times in the act, but he feels "untouchable" by claiming that his father is imprisoned and will soon be released.

Unbelievable! A young man only 22 years old has been detained 15 times by the National Police of Peru (PNP), but surprisingly he has always been released despite being caught in the act, according to a report from the program 'AN: Edición Dominical' of América Televisión.

Kevin González Herrera, alias 'Monstrito', operates at any time in the busy Tropicana bus stop in the district of San Juan de Miraflores and manages to snatch belongings from pedestrians and bus passengers.

In one of his recent captures by the PNP's Terna Group, the criminal excused himself for having stolen a cell phone out of necessity, as he intended to buy clothes.

But far from showing remorse for his constant crimes against property, alias 'Monstrito' threatened the police officers, stating that his father will soon be released from prison.

"They have intervened with me like 50 thousand times. My dad is about to get out of prison, you'll see. I'm not going to tell you his name", mentioned the insolent young criminal.

Faced with the consecutive releases of Kevin González, who mostly steals from women, police officers were surprised by the decision of the Peruvian justice system.

"There is a legal loophole that this individual is exploiting. Many times, when the stolen property does not exceed the minimum vital remuneration, they say it is a minor offense and the detention is not applicable, and this person is immediately released and repeats the same crime", says Colonel PNP David Villanueva, Head of the Green Squad.
