From the fields to the pages of scandal
In an exclusive interview with TeleDeportes, Roberto "Chorri" Palacios apologized and pleaded for forgiveness from his wife, who allegedly kicked him out of their house, after being caught for the second time with another woman.
Palacios, a former player of Sporting Cristal and Liga de Quito, stated, "You know how much I wish I could turn back time and make this not happen." With a trembling voice, he revealed his remorse for his act of infidelity.
Recognizing his mistake, Palacios aims to move forward, giving his best not only for his family but also for Peruvian football. He expressed his desire to work for the national team, as part of the coaching staff, and lead them to another World Cup.
"It would be great to be able to support and help them," Palacios said, indicating his readiness to be an assistant coach for the next manager who will replace Ricardo Gareca.
In this exclusive interview with TeleDeportes, Palacios also talked about his ranking of the "Chorrigolazos" (great goals scored by him).
