Mayor of Ventanilla denies responsibility in the collapse
The mayor of Ventanilla, Pedro Spadaro Philipps, hinted that the fault for the collapse in his jurisdiction would lie with the company that was in charge of the construction and supervision, as they were supposed to be in charge and should have verified if the metal structure of the roof was adequate.
"Responsibilities will be determined in the investigation. Obviously, every project has supervision, and they are responsible for guiding the events. Thank God there have been no fatalities," he said this afternoon on Canal N.
