First of all, you should know that NFC or Near field communication is a technology that allows you to exchange files between one phone and another without using WiFi or Bluetooth. However, few users know the other benefits that this option integrated ONLY in some devices can provide.
As Eid Hirsh, director of public relations for HONOR Peru, explains, with this technology a smartphone could be used as a means of payment. How is that? The bank payment card could be 'loaded' onto the phone and with it make payments without the need for physical money, immediately, not only in restaurants but also in public transportation and various establishments.
However, the use of NFC not only depends on the smartphone's hardware but also on the entities or companies that manage users' accounts. This is an alternative that will gradually become more common among Android users in Latin America.

What other functions does NFC have? As the Honor spokesperson comments, NFC is a data transfer technology between devices.
It is important to indicate that NFC already exists in Peru and devices like the HONOR 50 and HONOR Magic4 Pro have it, allowing you to transfer files between them or to a laptop. To activate it, you have to go to the quick settings menu and turn on NFC.
