Universitario de Deportes continues its preparation for the match against San Martin for the second round of the Clausura. Although, the club paused training to present a new jersey in commemoration of the Lolo Fernández Stadium which celebrates 70 years since its inauguration.
The new 'skin' of the merengue institution features cream color on the collar and predominates brown in remembrance of the moments in the old planks of the venue. In addition, a very peculiar detail is that it shows the aerial view of the Breña neighborhood where the historic venue is located.
The student club specified that this new jersey is added to the cherry as one of the alternatives for the team led by Carlos Compagnucci in their away games.
Similarly, it is important to mention that the jersey is available for sale on Marathon's website. "The prices for each version are as follows: S/199.90 for the men's version, S/169.90 for the women's version, and S/149.90 for the children's version," reads the Universitario website.
