University: details of the new 'skin' of the cream club

Universitario de Deportes continues its preparation for the match against San Martín in the second round of Clausura. However, the club took a break from training to present a new jersey in commemoration of the Lolo Fernández Stadium, which celebrates its 70th anniversary since its inauguration.

The new 'skin' of the merengue institution has a cream color collar and a predominant brown color in remembrance of the moments in the old bleachers of the stadium. Additionally, a very peculiar detail is that it shows an aerial view of the Breña neighborhood where the historic venue is located.

The student club specified that this new jersey joins the guinda as one of the alternatives for the squad led by Carlos Compagnucci in their away matches.

Likewise, it is important to mention that the jersey is on sale on Marathon's website. "The prices for each version are: S/199.90 for the men's version, S/169.90 for the women's version, and S/ 149.90 for the children's version," it reads on the Universitario website.

Universitario will seek its first victory in the Clausura

The draw against Cantolao left a bitter taste for the cream fans and, therefore, the merengue team will seek its first victory in the Clausura when they face Universidad San Martín this Saturday (3:30 p.m.). The white team will be the home team at the Monumental Stadium because the Alberto Gallardo is still closed.
