Two to start: Chávez and Merlo put Sporting Cristal ahead against Sport Huancayo in the Clausura 2022 [VIDEO].

Gianfranco Chávez and Omar Merlo arrived in Sport Huancayo's area to put Sporting Cristal ahead in the first match of the Clausura Tournament of Liga 1 Betsson 2022.

Sporting Cristal was effective in the first minutes. In the 15th minute, the team was already winning 2-0 against Sport Huancayo this Saturday for the first match of the Clausura Tournament of the Liga 1 Betsson 2022.

The scorer for Sporting Cristal against Sport Huancayo at the Alejandro Villanueva Stadium in La Victoria, in a match for the Peruvian first division league, was Gianfranco Chávez. The central defender for the rimense team rose in the 8th minute to score the difference in Roberto Mosquera's team.

Then, the goal by Merlo for Sporting Cristal came. He took advantage of a rebound in the 13th minute and only had to use his left foot to celebrate with all his teammates at Matute.

In fact, things didn't end there for the team from La Florida, as Martín Távara scored the third goal just a few minutes later.

However, the 'Rojo Matador' gradually recovered and scored a goal in the 30th minute through Víctor Balta, although Jimmy Valoyes was sent off just four minutes later.

Diego Buonanotte, Sporting Cristal's new reinforcement for the Clausura of the Liga 1 Betsson 2022, was on the rimense bench.
