Claudio Pizarro is planning his farewell match with Werder Bremen and it is expected that various world-class athletes will attend. "If it is not possible (to attend his exhibition in Germany), the plan is to have a farewell in Peru and I hope that many people can come to share with some of my teammates," he said in a dialogue with América TV.

These words would have generated an echo in the blanquiazul team. As it is remembered, the former captain of the Peruvian national team had a successful stint with Alianza Lima before arriving in European football.
According to RPP Deportes, the íntimo team would seek to arrange a farewell match before the end of the year. "Alianza Lima intends to hold a farewell match for Claudio Pizarro and in the coming days they will contact his environment. The idea is to do it between November and December," they pointed out.

Despite not being able to play in a World Cup, Claudio Pizarro was one of the referents of the national team and scored 20 goals in 85 appearances. Additionally, he is the fifth top scorer in the history of the national team.
