Former FIFA executive also criticized Sporting Cristal for withdrawing their signature from the lawsuit in TAS against the FPF.

Felipe Cantuarias, former FIFA executive, exploded on his social media after seeing that Sporting Cristal did not sign the statement from Alianza Lima, Universitario, and Cienciano, where they demand accountability from the FPF for the large number of people who traveled to the playoff in Qatar.

From his Twitter account, the also former president of Sporting Cristal wrote, "Following the values of our Founders, Cristal has always stood on the side of transparency and ethics. Not signing this statement and withdrawing the signature of the demand before TAS are actions that contradict our historical values. Let's hope the Board rectifies!", demanded the former FIFA executive.

It should be remembered that Felipe Cantuarias no longer belongs to FIFA where he was an executive. Agustín Lozano, president of the FPF, was supposed to sign a ratification letter, but he did not do it within the established time frame.

"I only needed a letter from Agustín Lozano to obtain my ratification in FIFA, something he did not want to do. I had never told this before because I did not want it to be taken as revenge, but it is incredible that Lozano did not want a Peruvian to continue holding the most important position in FIFA that a Peruvian had obtained," he commented on Radio Ovación in the month of February.

As you may recall, the FPF took 141 people on the playoff trip to Qatar, with only 70 being the delegation of the Peruvian national team. Departmental presidents of the football leagues and players' families, among others, attended the most important World Cup event in Peruvian football.
