One of the greatest forwards that Chile has had in recent decades is undoubtedly Humberto Suazo, who scored several times against the Peruvian National Team, and today at 41 years old he showed that he is still active by scoring a great goal playing in the First Division.

'Chupete' had a big part of his career at Monterrey, where he is an idol, and he also dazzled with 'La Roja', playing in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. In addition, he also had a stint at Real Zaragoza in Spain and was included in the Ideal Team of America.

Currently, Humberto Suazo is a football player for Deportes La Serena and on Saturday, June 18th, he played in the Copa de Chile, where despite his team's 4-3 loss against Universidad Concepción, he managed to score a great goal. His club can still qualify for the next round as they have the second-leg match remaining.

After seeing his spectacular goal, it is important to remember that in Peru we suffered it many times, as he scored against us in three different matches. In two matches for the South Africa 2010 Qualifiers and another one for the Brazil 2014 Qualifiers, all of them were Chilean victories.

It is important to highlight that in 2016 he officially announced his retirement from professional football, but in 2017 he decided to come back and so far he continues active, proving that it is still possible to play in the First Division of his country at his age.
