They stand firm. Alianza Lima will have a tough match against Binacional in Juliaca this weekend; however, the team led by Carlos Bustos has been experiencing some problems prior to their trip due to issues at the city's airport. In this regard, the blanquiazul board directed themselves to the organization of Liga 1 and demanded a solution.
"We have become aware through our own initiative that Juliaca's airport will be closed until Sunday 19th, according to the information provided by the airline Latam, a fact that was immediately communicated to the Liga 1 executives," the letter published by Radio Ovación stated.
Likewise, Alianza Lima stated that the tournament's representatives offer them two options that are not feasible. "Your represented, as the organizer of the tournament, decides to send us from Lima to the city of Juliaca by air, first to the airport of the city of Arequipa and then travel by land to Juliaca. The alternatives that they present to us are totally unfeasible and not suitable for a professional team or a professional sports league," they emphasized.

The other alternative given to Hernán Barcos' team and company was to arrive on the same Sunday, June 19th, two hours before the start of the match, and "only at that time go to the hotel." The current champion of Peruvian football considered this offer "unacceptable" because it puts the delegation at risk.
Given this scenario, Alianza Lima requested that the team be transferred on the same day with a reasonable amount of time. If this is not possible, they demand that the match be rescheduled.
"Alianza Lima's decision is that their representative ensures our arrival in the city of Juliaca by air with the complete professional team on the same Sunday or that the match be rescheduled in the upcoming or immediate days with the same requirement," they concluded.
