The 2019 season did not end well for Alianza Lima, after being defeated in the championship final by a total score of 6-3 against Deportivo Binacional, and thus losing the chance to extend their achievements in Peruvian football.

Meanwhile, that team from Puno had several individuals who helped them succeed in the 2019 season, one of them being the Colombian center forward Jeferson Collazos, who scored eleven goals and provided four assists in 26 matches. These numbers contributed to winning the national title.
It's worth mentioning that in that year, Binacional suffered the tragic loss of their player Juan Pablo Vergara in a car accident, and despite not being in the best emotional condition, they achieved their goal in the playoffs and dedicated the club's first title to their deceased teammate.
What is Jeferson Collazos doing nowadays?
Despite his successful campaign in Deportivo Binacional, the Colombian footballer was not renewed for another year and ended up joining the ranks of Atlético Grau, also from Peru. Later in 2021, he would move to the distant football of Iraq, specifically to Al Quwa Al Jawiya.
However, he is currently back in the football of our continent, but now playing in the remote league of El Salvador for the CD FAS club, where he is currently in fifth position in the country's first division.
