The defeat suffered by Alianza Lima against River Plate in the Copa Libertadores was a hard blow for the blanquiazul people. After two days of silence due to the defeat in Argentine territory, the club made its first statement through its social networks.

Conscious of the bitter episode experienced last Wednesday, May 25, Carlos Bustos' team addressed its fans and asked to overcome this defeat together, that is, the team and the entire blanquiazul people.

José Bellina, sports manager of Alianza Lima, indicated that in the coming weeks it will be determined whether Paolo Guerrero will join the blanquiazul team or not.
"The club has spoken with Paolo. The idea is to propose a project to him, not just a six-month contract. There was no formal offer, only dialogues to know his position. It will be defined in two or three weeks," he told RPP.
When will Jefferson Farfán return to Alianza Lima?
Salomón Lerner, member of the Blanquiazul Fund, referred to the return of the 'Foquita', who would return to training with the intimate team in less than a month.
"Unfortunately, he has been out and according to what the coaching staff told us, he could rejoin the team in a maximum of two to three weeks," he stated to RPP.
