The first stage of the Ecuador LigaPro is entering its final phase, and matchday 14, the penultimate one, will play its most important games at unified times on Saturday and Sunday, due to the international competition of those involved.

President Miguel Ángel Loor had previously stated that it would not be possible to play all the matches of this matchday on the same day and time, but they will try to do so on the last matchday. This weekend, the most important matches will be played on two different days.
On Saturday, May 21 at 8 PM, Liga de Quito, the third-placed team, will face Guayaquil City. Luis Zubeldía's team is two points away from the top. Before that, at 5:30 PM, Emelec will host U Católica in the clash between the fourth and fifth-placed teams (both still have a minimal chance of fighting for the title).
The top two teams will play on Sunday at 7 PM, as they play on Thursday and Wednesday for national cups and would not be able to play on Saturday. Barcelona will visit Aucas and Independiente del Valle will host Mushuc Runa.
