University issues statement regarding incident during minor's classic
The 'U' issued a statement regarding the incident that occurred on Saturday, May 7th at VIDU de Campo Mar, when an individual associated with Alianza Lima fired up to three shots during a classic match corresponding to the Copa Federación (FPF minor league tournament).

After expressing their repudiation regarding what happened in their facilities, the merengue club details that "a person who we have fully identified in photographs, one of them inside the rival team's bus, fired shots under circumstances that we are unaware of, generating a moment of shock and terror among the players, attending families, and personnel working at the club headquarters."
"During the incident, the police intervened with Jimmy Silva, who was allowed access to our headquarters, as he identified himself as a parent from the rival team. As part of the investigations, we have made available to the authorities the images where the individual is seen with the gun in hand," adds the 'U'.
Universitario also points out that they have decided to prohibit the "entry of parents from Club Alianza Lima to our headquarters. And, to stop these acts of violence, we also urge the crema family, for security measures, not to attend the venues where the next minor's classics will be held."
