On Thursday, December 16, the National Women's Superior Volleyball League (LNSV) begins, a competition that was going to have the presence of spectators at the Villa el Salvador Sports Center, where the entire tournament will take place. However, through a statement, the Peruvian Federation announced that there will finally be no spectators during the first three matches.
"Due to the lack of logistics to relocate the vaccination center currently established in the security zone of the Villa el Salvador Sports Center, it will not be possible for the first three matches of the LNSV Women's League scheduled for this week to have the presence of fans," detailed the institution through a statement.
In this way, the matches of the National Women's Superior Volleyball League, which will involve the participation of 10 teams, will have to wait until the fourth round to be able to have audience attendance, which will be 20% of the allowed capacity according to the rules provided by the Government for sports events.
The opening day of the LNSV will have only one match this Thursday, featuring Regatas Lima, the reigning champion, and Grupo Soan, the Intermediate League champion. The match is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
The new season of the league will include the participation of Regatas Lima, Grupo Soan, Alianza Lima, Deportivo Alianza, Circolo Sportivo Italiano, Universidad San Martín, Rebaza Acosta, Géminis, Deportivo Jaamsa, and Latino Amisa.
