The newspaper Líbero was able to speak with the administrator of Cienciano, Sergio Ludeña, to clarify all the details regarding the negotiations between Alianza Lima and Raziel García. In a conversation with journalist José Varela, the club's executive revealed that the player is still in contact with the 'íntimos'.
"We intend for him (Raziel García) to go to Alianza Lima. They continue to talk (the player and Alianza). Alianza (Lima) has the intention of having the player, they are interested and there is a proposal but it is not closed," said Sergio Ludeña.
He also made it clear that until the negotiations between Alianza Lima and Raziel García are closed, the player will remain with Cienciano del Cusco until his contract expires.
"Today nobody paid anything (for his transfer), he (Raziel García) is still with the club. I don't know if that can change (in the coming hours). Raziel García's group can keep the pass or he himself can cancel the termination. Everything can change. Raziel can go to Alianza, to Mexico, many things can happen... Today he is with Cienciano," he added.
Raziel García will continue to be a player for Cienciano del Cusco until December 31, 2022. However, if a club pays for the player's transfer, he could change teams for the next season. It is an essential issue that Alianza Lima has not addressed so far.
The Peruvian football league starts on January 21, 2022. The Liga 1 will consist of two phases: Apertura and Clausura with everyone playing against each other.
