"The truth is that I am very happy to belong to Cienciano. It is a very beautiful challenge, very important for me, for my career. I know that the club is made up of very good people. That seems to me to be the most important thing, so we are going to fight a lot to achieve the objectives set for the season," said the 'gringo' with regard to his arrival.
Regarding the reason why he changed teams, the national goalkeeper indicated that he wants to have more prominence and, as a result, add group and individual achievements to his career. "I was motivated by the interest, the desire to achieve more, to have continuity, to grow and help the club achieve its objectives," he added.
Likewise, the 'Rusito' also emphasized the return of the 'Papá' to an international tournament (Copa Sudamericana) after 12 years, taking into account what the imperials mean throughout South America. "This tournament is a great challenge, because Cienciano already knows what it takes to win it, so we will face it with the responsibility it deserves," he said.
Finally, Patrick Zubczuk did not want to overlook and described the characteristics he can bring to the Cusco squad. "I am a leader, it is a characteristic I have had since I was very young. I really like to be positive and help my teammates, the rest I prefer to demonstrate on the field," he concluded.
