Jefferson Farfán left his mark on Alianza Lima's 1-0 victory over Sporting Cristal in the first final of the Liga 1 Betsson. The 'Foquita' impressed with a skill against Argentine defender Omar Merlo at the Estadio Nacional.
A few minutes after entering, Farfán found the ball in the middle of the field and to elude Omar Merlo, he executed a superb 'lob' to continue towards Cristal's goal, but was fouled by Christofer Gonzales.

The former PSV and Schalke 04 player came in for Wilmer Aguirre and only had one scoring chance in the match that ended in Alianza's favor, with the goal scored by Argentine Hernán Barcos.
