After returning to Peruvian football in July of this year with the Cantolao shirt after a series of off-field problems, Patricio Arce became César Vallejo's great reinforcement for the Liga 1 and Copa Libertadores of 2022.

Excited for a new challenge
Shortly afterwards, 'Pato' Arce showed great enthusiasm to start a new challenge in his professional life. "Now it is up to me to make the most of this new challenge, with a coach as experienced as 'Chemo' (Del Solar). I am clear that I must give my best for the team," he added.
No approach to Melgar
Patricio Arce ruled out any kind of approach with the people from Melgar. "The truth is that I had no communication with them. I am very focused on the things I have for next year," he said.
Putting off-field problems behind
Finally, the now César Vallejo player referred to the off-field problems he had earlier this year.
"Those are things that are already in the past, they were small problems, but life has given me another opportunity. Thank God I am fine, I am alive, I can play football and I am very happy about that. I live focused on football and now more than ever," concluded Patricio Arce.
