The blanquiazul club is preparing novelties in the La Victoria venue and would be ready for the 50th anniversary of the sports institution.

Alliance Lima is already preparing the expansion and modernization of the Alejandro Villanueva Stadium, better known as Matute, into a great venue that will be ready for the 50th anniversary of the stadium's foundation in 2024. Several models from clubs worldwide are serving as guides for this project, which is already exciting the blanquiazul people.

Can you imagine yourself, dear reader, having breakfast in broad daylight at the Matute field with your family or in the company of friends? Beautiful, isn't it? Well, beyond building stands and boxes to achieve a capacity of 60,000 attendees, the goal is to live unique and unforgettable experiences.

The closest thing to what is intended is currently happening at Estudiantes de La Plata's "Jorge Luis Hirschi" stadium. In 2019, after 13 years of work, the "Pincha" people achieved their new European-style stadium, which includes a beautiful thematic bar and gastronomic complex within its premises.

"I have had the fortune to be in incredible stadiums, and the idea for this one comes from there. Nowadays, stadiums are sustainable, with amenities. And they're not just for watching a match or a concert. I had the chance to be at Tottenham's, for example, and it has recreational areas, places to eat," said Juan Sebastián Verón, former footballer and president of the 'Pincharrata' team, in the days leading up to the inauguration of the spectacular stadium, according to Clarín.

Alliance Lima aims for the same. "Modernizing the stadium is one of the pending issues. The project is still ongoing. So far, only plans have been presented, which did not cost the club a sol. Based on this, when things are regularized, the economic capacity will be evaluated because the stadium project will have to be self-sustaining and self-financing," said Diego Gonzales Posada to LÍBERO in 2020. He is the head of Fondo Blanquiazul.

Today, the focus of the club is on the final of the Peruvian football League 1, which Alliance Lima will play against Sporting Cristal. Afterwards, this and other institutional matters will return to the work table because they are part of the ambitious project that the authorities of the institution have for the good of the club.

When do Alianza Lima and Sporting Cristal play the League 1 2021 final?

The League 1 final will be decided in two matches, which will be played on November 21 and 28, starting at 15:00 local time at the National Stadium.

Alianza Lima vs. Sporting Cristal with spectators
