"I thought things would get better after the classic match against Chile. Then we had a defeat in Bolivia, which I don't think was the best when the team was in a good moment, especially against Bolivia with one less player. They couldn't hold on and win the match," Pizarro told ESPN.
Later, the former forward explained that maintaining consistent results in the Qualifiers is very important and he is confident that the Peruvian National Team will find that consistency.
"I hope these matches are better. I think it's very important to maintain consistency in these Qualifiers, which is perhaps what we have been lacking. We will see what happens in the next matches. I have confidence that the team will improve and earn the necessary points at this moment," he added.
