During the last few days, the Ad Hoc Commission of the Congress of the Republic announced that more than 380,000 elderly people will receive an advance of 1000 soles for their contributions to the National Housing Fund (Fonavi). We must mention that the member of the working group, Jorge Milla, announced that the refund money can be taken without permission from the Executive Branch or any other authority.
"That money can be taken without asking permission from the Executive or any other authority. That fund will allow us to act in two ways, giving more than S/1000 to those who received absolutely nothing in these two decades", he specified.
Who will receive the 1000 soles advance?
According to Jorge Milla, the elderly people who contributed to the project will receive the 1000 soles advance, and in case of death, it will be the heirs or widows.
Fonavi: Check if you were a contributor to the fund
The Government of Peru has presented an official platform for fonavistas to directly consult if they were contributors to the project, how much money they will receive, and if they are beneficiaries of the 1000 soles advance.
