Antonio Gonzales signs with Ayacucho FC
After only wearing the Universitario de Deportes jersey throughout his career, Antonio Gonzales has decided to join Ayacucho FC this season, a team managed by Colombian coach Édgar Ospina.

"I am happy to have him here. We have been talking since December. He comes as a leader. Hopefully, 'Toñito' can surpass his detractors with good performances in Ayacucho FC," said Édgar Ospina to RPP.
"I have known Antonio Gonzales since he was in the youth divisions of Universitario. He has been one of the best players in his position and we have to make the most of him," expressed the Ayacucho FC coach.
Finally, Édgar Ospina stated that Ayacucho FC aims to once again be a protagonist in the Torneo Descentralizado this year and also to compete for a spot in an international tournament.
