The experienced forward Hernán Rengifo has been announced as a reinforcement for Carlos Stein for the 2021 season of the Peruvian first division championship. The 'Charapa' wore the Alianza Universidad de Huánuco jersey in 2020.
"Welcome Charapa! Our AFC Carlos Stein warmly welcomes the experienced forward Hernán Rengifo, who joins our Carlista team for this 2021 season," says the message shared on social media.
Carlos Stein will be the fourteenth team in the 37-year-old striker's sports career. The forward previously played for Alianza UDH, Cusco FC (Real Garcilaso), Melgar, Universitario, Juan Aurich, Sivasspor, Sporting Cristal, Omonia Nicosia, Lech Poznan, San Martín, Unión Huaral, Virgen de Chapi, and Deportivo Sachapuyos.
The Carlista team has also signed José Zurita, Anderson Guevara, Andrés López, José Cotrina, Giancarlo Peña, Gino Guerrero, John Fajardo, and David Díaz Colunga, while hiring Argentine coach Miguel Angel Zahzú.
